Fishing Utah Day on the Hill

Fishing Utah Day on the Hill

Utah anglers gathered on Utah’s Capitol Hill to show legislators the positive financial impact fishing has on Utah’s economy. At issue: HB 386, a bill sponsored by representative Scott Chew, that could potentially take recreational access away from the Lower Provo River.

To protest against the bill, anglers from several non-profit organizations spoke up to say that they fish, they spend, and they vote.
