________________________________________ Working as travel nurse in Anchorage gave me a chance to explore South Central Alaska and after glassing over 20 bedded sheep one day I came back with A couple Trail cameras and after a few tries I got the height right (dall sheep are lot shorter than elk and mule deer) the bears were a pleasant surprise and I’m glad I have yet to have a negative encounter on the trail.

I was traveling east on I-70 Thursday afternoon July 13 and the lazy sky was full of clouds that seem to be going no where. It reminded me of lazy summer days as a young boy.
My husband and l am was enjoying a trip in the Uintas. One evening we came across this bear wandering a meadow, and digging up roots. We watched the bear for several minutes until he made his way to the tree line on the opposite side of the meadow. An incredible momery to just watch a bear in Utah. It’s a great moment that my husband and I will not forget. We love enjoying the outdoors because you just never know what you will see.
