I just wanted to send my first snapshot of the week. My 12 year old granddaughter Brielle has always loved to fish and this weekend we were on the lake and she decided she wanted to learn how to fly fish. By the end of the day I was the proudest grandpa I could imagine. She listened to my instructions and applied them immediately and I got to witness her hook, fight and land 5 rainbow trout and a few she lost. I have never seen anyone figure out fly fishing that quickly especially for a 12 year old. It was a day I will never forget.
