I got my first animal with my bow this year. Which happens to be a bull elk for the 2024 season. I had 45 minutes left of shooting light . My brother spotted a good 6 point from a mile away i made the call and went after it. Made it to my spot where I new I good make a shot. But the elk was not going the way I figured so my 12 year old daughter that just learned how to bugal the night before made 3 very good bugals and brought him to me at 22 yards. Hunt of a life time for me with my daughter calling in a bull elk and it being my first big game animal with a bow.

Maverick went on his first backpacking trip this year into the Uinta Mountains. He hiked in over 11 miles to get into the first lake that he fished. And after getting his rod setup, and tying on a black ant, he casted into the lake to have this brook trout explode on the fly as soon as it landed on the water!!! It hit so hard it actually scared him! Maverick landed this fish and many others over the trip and had an amazing experience. Overall he hiked over 25 miles on this trip and did a great job carrying his own pack and smiling most the time.
