We kick it off with some big bucks Randy found still running together. His early morning photo captured this herd of bachelor bucks still dressed in velvet. Randy says, “it was thrill to spend the morning with them!” Randy then went looking and found this giant, not to far away.

Kathryn was out on the opener of this years archery hunt and was hunting near water when this nice three by four came to water, sniffed them and ran away. Kathryn say the buck came back and she steadied her nerves and made a great shot.

Jeff and his nephew Zach had quite the archery hunt. They were hunting a water hole deep in the Wasatch Limited Entry unit, when just before dark, this fine six by six came in, kicked a smaller bull out and the adrenaline rush started to get the best of Jeff. He calmed himself, placed his 30 yard pin on the bull and let her fly. The bull only went 60 yards before piling up. Jeff says you know you’re loved when your family wakes at six am to help you pack out your trophy.

Brothers Mason, Brayden and the baby Kyler had a blast on this years dove hunt. Mike says they walked and drove more than they shot and his youngest Kyler assured him, that the next time they went hunting, he’d be going again. The boys had a great time making memories with their dad outdoors.

Check out the monster nine pound, twenty seven inch long rainbow that thirteen year old Parker hauled back in June. Parker was trolling with his dad and cousin Travis at Minervilles reservoir, located about 20 miles west of the town of Beaver. The reservoir is known to produce good fish, but this is a giant.

But our winner tonight is a successful, high country hunt for Joseph. Jeff took his step-son Joseph on his first grouse hunt and boy did they find a good spot. Here’s Joseph with his first grouse and by ten that morning, Joseph had bagged his limit. Jeff says the birds made for some delicious stir fry when they got home. Well congrats guys on the hunt and the next time you head outdoors, you’ll have our big prize to help you cook some of those tasty birds, as you two just won our snapshot of the week.
