Howard Wade is a veteran who served in both the Navy and Army. Unfortunately his retirement is being cut short, after a cancer diagnosis that left him with only a few months to live. So the Utah Conservation Officer’s Association, along with the owners of Johnson Mountain Ranch, came together to gift Howard a bull elk tag. It’s the “last hurrah” for someone who served our country, and an elk hunt Howard and his family will always remember.

I recently had my left foot amputated
I am 73 and have hunted every year but one until this year . it feels like something is missing in my life.
I was hoping to get contact information on the organization in last week’s show. Evan a cow elk hunt would be a thrill. the docs say it takes a year to get to the point of walking with a cane.
Hi Bart,
Here’s their website where you can contact D.O. Utah and see what they can do for you.
