We start with a Lake Powell Grand Slam. Lyle was fishing the big pond this spring with his son and caught the big five at Powell. Here he is with a nice crappie, a chucky smallmouth, a small striper, a tasty walleye and this great bucketmouth. Lyle says it was as close as being the perfect day as possible.
After 17 years Tyler finally drew a limited entry elk tag last year. He was hunting the Manti and on the opener was able to down this great bull. Tyler says what made the hunt, was all the help he received from his family and friends. He hopes to not have to wait another 17 years for a another chance at such a great hunt.
Chet had an opportunity of a lifetime to fish the Sea of Cortez this May and came home with some awesome pictures and some great memories. Here is his 149 pound Blue Marlin launching out of the water after realizing it had been hooked. And finally after 40 minutes battle, Chet was able to pose with his prize. Definitely a trip, Chet will never forget.
Shane’s and his two boys had a blast catching perch at Starvation over Memorial Day weekend. Here’s Wyatt holding one of the perch he landed with his Disney Cars fishing rod. After he caught the fish, he was so excited that he accidentally threw his rod into the water and it sank to the bottom. Wyatt however wasn’t mad, and proceeded to parade his big perch around the ramp showing it off to anyone who would listen. Shane is proud that his sons, have found the same love of the outdoors as he has.
And finally our winner tonight is a big fish out of a little pond. Jared and his son had a day to remember at Vivian Park a few weeks back when Jared hooked into this 9 pound brown on 6 pound test and finally brought the beast to shore. Jared says they were shocked at the size of the brown and decided to put it back for some other lucky angler.
