Dakota’s “Touchdown, Checkmate” Turkey Hunt

In part two of this year’s King’s Camo turkey hunts for kids with special needs, we introduce you to Dakota Larsen. He’s a great young man, 16-years-old and on the Kearns High School football team. But he also deals with the effects of being born premature. Dakota has hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy, and he’s had 13 brain surgeries. He’s also legally blind. But none of that stops Dakota from going turkey hunting for the first time. This is a story of perseverance, overcoming handicaps, and a community of outdoorsmen who gather around those in need to make miracles happen.
