Fish Tech Fishing Report for 11/2/2013

WEBER RIVER

Good fishing from Echo Reservoir to South Weber. Spin anglers try small natural-color Rapalas and spinners. Fly fishers try sow bugs, pheasant tails, Prince nymphs and midge patterns during midday. Streamers have been the best in the cold mornings and late afternoons. The brown trout have started digging to prepare their spawning areas (called redds), so do not step in places where fish have cleared away the algae.

STRAWBERRY RESERVOIR

Continues to fish very well from shore and boat. Use traditional powerbaits, worm, or cutbait. Fishing is best early and late for shallow cruising cutthroats.
