Ice off fishing is starting at Scofield! Some of the best fishing of year is right now! Biologist Mike Slater reports the ice has pulled back 40 yards in some places! Fly guys throw black, brown or green wooly buggers. Bait anglers try using a black or green jig tipped with cut bait.
Sand Hollow Reservoir
Great Fishing for big large mouth bass! Water temp is fast approaching 60 degrees and bass are moving shallow. Use big jigs with a trailer fished in the bushes or try drop shotting a senko or other soft plastics for bedded bass.
