Anglers report a lot of channel catfish success this week with some 25 to 30 inches long. Try using worms or stinkbaits. Please keep in mind that there is a fish-consumption advisory for channel catfish and carp in Utah Lake.
Flaming Gorge Reservoir
The smallmouth spawn is about on! Smallmouths are starting to become more active in the shallows in preparation for the spawn. This is the time of the year when big smallies are caught. Use jigs, Senkos, jerk baits, Rapala Xrap and deep running crankbaits. Where you find one bass, there are likely many.
