<(Adam Intro) "Welcome back to KSL Outdoors, I'm Adam Eakle. You know my family and I have been going down to Lake Powell for over 40 years. Every time my kids see this Goblin Valley State Park turnoff they want to stop, we never have, and so today, we are going to find out what we've all been missing.">
12 MILES WEST OF HIGHWAY 24, WE HEAD TO ONE OF UTAH’S MOST UNIQUE AND POPULAR TOURIST DESTINATIONS…GOBLIN VALLEY STATE PARK…A SECLUDED VALLEY FULL OF THOUSANDS OF MYSTERIOUS, MUSHROOM SHAPED PINNACLES THAT ARE BELIEVED TO BE MILLIONS OF YEARS OLD.
THERE ARE THREE SHORT HIKES AT GOBLIN VALLEY…ALL OF WHICH CAN BE HIKED IN ONE DAY. BUT WITH ALL THE PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES, YOU’LL WANT TO CAREFULLY CHOOSE WHERE TO BE AT SUNSET.
ALTHOUGH THE HOODOOS HAVE REMAINED THE SAME FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS, THE PARK HAS SEEN SOME RECENT RENOVATIONS.
THE YURTS INCLUDE A PROPANE HEATER, A WOODEN DECK AND A NEARBY WATER SPIGOT PLUS THEY’RE ALL SOLAR POWERED.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ON HOW YOU CAN RESERVE A YURT FOR YOUR GOBLIN VALLEY ADVENTURE VISIT stateparks.utah.gov.
