How Anglers and Conservationists Saved Water on the Lower Provo River

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources electrofishing a section of the Lower Provo River to survey how many fish there are in the stretch above the dam. The reason, is because in 2018, the dam took so much water away from the river for electricity production, that the water flowed at only 3cfs… not enough to keep fish alive. So anglers and conservation groups got together top raise money to save the water for the next 10 years. That way everyone can enjoy the water, all year long.
