Our good friend Devan Bigler and his sweetheart Jeanette have been fixtures at Strawberry Marina for decades. Last Christmas, Devan suffered a massive stroke at Strawberry and passed away a few days later. Devan will be remembered for being a giant teddy bear, with a huge smile, a loud laugh, and a love of helping others. Devan had many passions in life, his family, hunting, Strawberry and kokanee salmon. So, the next time you’re up at Strawberry and step on one of the docks, know that a nice man named Devan helped build those. Devan’s legacy will live on with every person who has the thrill of catching a strawberry kokanee.
