Utah’s San Rafael Swell is an often overlooked desert playground. With bizarre rock formations, historical sites, and hundreds of miles of off-roading trails, we thought it was time to go explore in an OHV.
The friendly staff at Big Mountain Lodge in Ferron guided us to the best sites including Copper Globe, Eagle Canyon Arch, Slipper Arch, Swasey’s Cabin, and more. Plus we got to see Wedge Overlook at the Little Grand Canyon, pictographs in Buckskin Wash, outlaw signatures, the Rochester Panel rock art site, and even dinosaur tracks.
