Went ice fishing on Deer Creek Reservoir before the big storm! Caught this rainbow in the first minute of the day!
Joe (3 years old) had a blast with his dad and grandpa catching some amazing rainbow trout at deer creek reservoir.
This was a few of many fish caught that day. I fish this lake many times a year. The drive from my house is over 2 hours to get there, but with fish like these it makes the drive well worth it.

This was my yearly birthday camping trip to Strawberry lake in September. This was our last day of the trip before we came home. We decided to take my 2 year old son Tavete out on the boat mom, dad, uncle and cousin’s. When we got to our fishing spot everyone tossed out their lines. Tavete looked at us and grabbed a fishing pole and wanted to join. So rigged his with a white tube jig and a worm. Threw it in and handed him the rod. Within 30 seconds his pole was bending over and the rest is history. Here is my first father and son fishing adventure and many more to come!
