I went fishing with my friend Nathan looking to hook into some big rainbows. The fishing wasn’t great, but even with the slow fishing, we still put a couple nice bows on the hard deck for our first trout of 2023.
During the elk hunt 11 year old Jaden had the opportunity to score a pine hen and did so. His first successful bag with his newly acquired small game license. Jaden was the only one with any success during the elk hunt.
Fish Lake, August 2022. 7 year old John caught this nearly 4 lb. salmon off of grandpa’s sinker boat (nick named “sinker”). Big fish, big grin.
We went to Costa Rica with a group of friends (5 couples) for a fishing trip. It was epic! We caught Durado, sailfish, marlin, rooster, tuna and snapper!

We had Pine Valley general season Buck permits. Pretty low number of Buck to Doe ratio this due to drought. So we entertained our selves checking out the scenery and I couldn’t help but show my good friend Jerry a secret tree stand that I found. It was Jerry’s irate time hunting this unit!🤣 It’s too bad it won’t let me upload this short video. Adam you would get a chuckle out of this. If you send me an email I will share it with you! Had all the grandkids able to fish for perch on Fish Lake and they were catching them so fast, all I could do was filled the whole day as fast as I could. They caught over 200 during the fun weekend!
