I took my daughter ice fishing for the first time recently. We hadn’t even drilled our second hole before Megan hooked her first rainbow through the ice! She and her sister spent the morning catching several more. Dad couldn’t have been more proud. There’s nothing like finding success your first time ice fishing to create great memories and keep you coming back again and again.

Me and my mom went up to Idaho over the weekend for a track and field meet and I decided to bring my fly rod. I am very new to fly fishing and I’m still learning a lot about it. On our way home from our trip we decided to stop at a little pond to do some fishing and I caught my personal best rainbow trout on my fly rod! It was 25-1/2 inches and it weighed 7 pounds 1 oz! It was the biggest trout I’ve ever caught and it was on a fly rod! I am super happy about it and I hope to catch more fish like this in the future!

Colt and his team of Jr Mustangs had the opportunity to travel to Fargo ND and play hockey against teams from all across the country. 64 teams entered the tournament and the Jr Mustangs from Ogden brought home the championship!!! Between games they were able to play pond hockey with their buds at a local outdoor rink.
