Every year I go to Pinehurst, NC to play in the U.S. Kids World Golf Championship. This year I asked my dad if I could put my fishing rod in my golf bag. Luckily, my friend Luke who was playing in the tournament stayed at an Airbnb right on the lake. He said he had a huge bass on in the morning, but it broke him off under the dock. That night, while fishing with a cinco I caught my personal best 8 pound large mouth!!! I also finished off the week winning my first U.S. Kids world championship. Definitely one of my favorite weeks of fishing and golfing.

Elk hunting the Wasatch Mountains in September lived up to the hype. The air was crisp and the bulls were bugling. Everything lined up and I was able to harvest a great mature bull an hour into the hunt. It filled the freezer with a ton of great meat. It was awesome being there with my dad and a few good friends making some fantastic memories.

Took my 10 year old daughter “Willow” out scouting. When we dropped down to a pond this cow elk popped out long enough for a quick picture and the smile on her face a moment she wont ever forget.
