After 24 years of applying I was able to draw my Utah muzzleloader elk tag. The hunting was awesome and I had may opportunities and nice bulls. On day six of the hunt I was able to get within range and take this beautiful bugling bull! Having my dad there by my side made this hunt truly unforgettable.

My wife April drew a CWMU cow elk tag for the first time this year, and had a bunch of great “firsts”… 1) Her first big game animal 2) Her first elk 3) TWO IN ONE DAY 4) all on new years day too! A great way to start the year!
