After more than 18 days of hunting, I finally l the moose of a lifetime. I finally got my moose! Surrounded by my family and great friends! 45” wide 7-9!!! Greg smith Smithfield Utah! 435-757-6986
My best friend flew in from out of town and we wanted to go photograph some wildlife. We woke up super early to go hike up to Lake Catherine (big cottonwood) to scope out for moose and deer. As we were coming up on Lake Mary we decided it was a good time to stop and have a little snack. When we packed everything back up to continue our hike we spotted this little buck having the same idea. He may need a napkin with that drool.

I have been so excited for the hunt this year. And the night before opening morning of the rifle hunt it snowed in the mountains above Vernal. My dad and I got up early and headed up around the North Slope. We saw many does and finally found this nice buck. This was my first buck and was a great experience and can’t wait for next year.
