My names Jaycee and I’m a youth hunter. I started hunting this year. This was my first deer and big game hunt. I hunted the box elder unit public land. At dusk in the opener of the hunt, we found a group of 12 deer with two little 2 points. Someone spooked them when they started to run a 4 point was with the group. We stalked them to where they ran a couple miles away and found a spot to take a shot. They were moving away. I had a broadside shot at 446 yards. I was able to make a good shot and harvest my first deer. What an incredible experience. I’m hooked.

This was my very first hunt this spring. I didn’t come from a hunting family but I’ve always been interested. My dad is supportive and when I decided to get a turkey tag started doing research in how, where, etc. With the help of a friend, we were able to find some turkeys mid day of the opener. We called them in and I made a shot. I’ve been hooked since.

My 15 year old son Bowe Rose, got this nice buck on the first day of the deer hunt. He has been so excited you can hardly talked to him.
My daughter 17yr old Ashlynn Rose, first deer hunt 2025. She got it done on the 2nd day of the hunt with one shot, from a creedmoor. We are very proud of her!!
This is my daughter Reagan, she’s 19 and this was her first buck. She drew a fishlake tag and was able to take this 2X3 buck with one shot from 200yds. She was super excited. Our family was all there to share the excitement and success with her.
