Ten-year-old Easton filled his very first big-game tag on an Arizona javelina after several days of hard work on the youth hunt! He spotted it across a small canyon, made a perfect one-shot harvest with his .243, and the rest was history. One proud moment for one very happy young hunter
After submitting for 16 years finally awarded Deseret CWMU. Almost didn’t apply this year as I’m getting a bit long of tooth. What a great job Wild Country Outfitters did. First rate treatment. Great lodging, food and great guides. They took care of everything! It was well worth the wait. Great way to finish my deer hunting days.

Me and my eight year old son Easton went to Idaho to hunt whitetail and this was Eastons first experience hunting whitetail deer. We live in southern utah and we decided to do a quick father and son trip to Idaho. leaving us with only a day and a half to make this hunt happen. Easton spotted this buck with the new 18x50mm Sig Sauer ZULU6 HDX Pro (stabilizing Binoculars) and Easton said dad…. I found a big buck and you need to shoot him (he is a giant in E-mans eyes!! I did not hesitate and I was able to make a quick clean shot using the CVA muzzleloader. Easton thank you for being my right hand man and I am sure you and I will never forget this epic moment. This is what it’s all about on getting the youth into the outdoors. -dad.

Hey all, I was finally given the opportunity to hunt mule deer in South Dakota this past November, joined by my cousin we traveled 11.5 hours to Lodgepole Creek Outfitters in Lemmon South Dakota and had the best time enjoying the beautiful new country, hundreds of NICE whitetail bucks and muley bucks, thousands of Roosters and sharp tails and yes those Wiley coyotes over about every hilltop. After taking in all the inventory we seen I was starting to question myself for passing on a bunch of bucks, but that all changed when we topped the hill on thanksgiving and seen this guy shredding a pine tree and chasing his little brother off from his harem of does. He probably wasn’t what a lot of people would shoot, but for me it was a no brainer since I’m partial of the freaks in the world. I got on the bogo and chambered the 165 gr 28 nozzler, dialed the leupold to 350 yards and well the rest is history. This big ole veteran had it all, big head, roman nose, hooves the size of elk and dressed out at 225lb……lots of steaks in the future. Such a fun hunt and great opportunity to see different animals and great new people. Thanks for your time!!!!!
