After receiving the draw results, initially we thought he was unsuccessful for every hunt he put in for until we scrolled all the way to the bottom and realized at age 16 Tripp drew a Bull moose tag. After scouting all summer opening day couldn’t come soon enough. He passed on 6 Mature bulls but was holding out for the bull that had only been spotted once and had disappeared for a few weeks. As luck would have it we spotted the Bull that night and the rest is History. Not only is it a very Unique Bull but a Stud and Tripp got to share ithis experience with his closest Family members and friends.

It was a very slow morning with only two fish landed. However I can’t complain about this one at all. If you are only going to catch a couple of fish, this tiger trout is an awesome one to catch!
After 24 years of applying 78 year old Bill Jaques got it done the first 30 minuets of the first day. one shot from his trusty 7mm mag got the job done. Along to help with the pack out his son Jared and his three grandsons Chance, Logan and David. Life long outdoorsman Bill Jaques has been a great example to his family.
