Haisley caught this fish on the Boulder Mountain at Blue Lake. It measured 22 inches long and 4 lbs. It was the first fish of the day for our group!
It had been a really good morning, but a major storm blew in around noon bringing high winds and lightening. I caught this really nice tiger trout on my very last cast before I high tailed it as fast I could get my float tube off the lake. I don’t care how good the fishing or catching is I won’t mess with Mother Nature when she is angry and starts throwing lightening bolts.

Celebrated Abbeys 18th birthday at the berry all to get skunked by the fish, but not by this cute crawdad. It was a cray cray 18th birthday.
We decided to go fishing instead of hunting opening morning or the Utah archery deer hunt and McCoy Crane (7) landed this awesome fire truck Kokanee salmon on strawberry reservoir what an awesome memory to have with a good friend and my son.

Fishing with my dad in the Boulder Mountains. The hike in was an absolute down pour with the trails turning into small steams. The thunders was echoing through the mountains as we tried to set up camp in the mud. It wasn’t the best start to our weekend away, but it was all worth it the next morning when we woke up to this! An amazing sunrise over the mountains with beautiful blue skies. And I even landed a personal best Tiger trout to end the trip.
