The first picture is the Bald Eagle getting annoyed by magpies while trying to catch a fish in the pond. The second and third pictures are of two mature Bald Eagles fighting after a fish that one had caught and the other one wanted to have his share. These eagles have made a home at our pond in northern Utah by our family cabin. They stay year round,

Paisley finally realized her dream of going ice fishing with Grandpa John at Strawberry. She had longed for this experience ever since she witnessed her older brothers enjoying it so much. Every time she asked Grandpa to take her, he would insist she needed the right boots. So, for Christmas, Paisley requested snow boots specifically for this occasion. On this day, Grandpa John, Uncle Camron, and a few cousins set out to Strawberry for their ice fishing adventure. As they patiently waited on the ice, Paisley’s excitement peaked when she noticed her line bouncing. With determination, she sprang into action, reeling in the biggest catch of the day: a 21-inch trout. Her success wouldn’t have been possible without Uncle Camron’s quick assistance, who bravely reached his arm down the hole to secure the fish as the line snapped. Paisley cherished every moment of the experience and eagerly anticipates her next ice fishing trip with Grandpa.
