Snapshot of the Week: Dec. 6, 2014

We kick it off with young Hudson posing with his 6 month old Springer Spaniel Lucy and their haul. Dad says, Hudson has been begging to go hunting for weeks, so he took his two new hunters to Deseret Lake and he says it’s a good thing Lucy fetched the ducks because Hudson was next in line to swimming.

Jordan, Coleton and Dylan were all lucky enough to draw swan tags this year. So, Scott loaded the boys up and drove three hours North to take them hunting and as you can see all three got their birds. Scott says, when he looks at this picture he realizes those smiles are worth every mile he drove. He’s so proud of the boys and the passion and love they have for the outdoors.

Scott took his two boys Johnny and Jacob out on this years youth hunt and says, it’s his favorite hunt of the year. Both boys limited out on teal and Johnny shot a banded goose. His boys absolutely loved it.

Check out this cute shot. Four year old Bear Thornley got all dressed up in his camo and hunted hard with mom and dad. But his work didn’t end there. Here he is with his trusted BB gun at his side as helped mom and dad breast out a mallard for the pot.

Out hunting divers at Farmington bay. A single cinnamon teal came over the decoy spread and dad let his 11 year old son Stone take the first shot. Needless to say only one shot rang out. When Stone retrieved it his voice crackled “it’s banded Dad!” Stone went from being miserably cold to super warm and had a smile the rest of the day. Definitely a trophy of a lifetime

but our winner tonight has had one heck of a year and is passing on his passion to his son. Kyle was so excited to take his four year old son Kade out on his first duck hunt. The weather couldn’t have been better as they set up their decoys alongside the dike with Kade became more excited with each duck Kyle & and his dad Keith harvested. The end of the day couldn’t have been captured more perfectly with dad and son silhouette in the beautiful sunset. A moment and a hunt I’m sure you’ll never forget Kyle and to help you.
