Utah Wildlife Walls: Águila de Fuego

Águila de Fuego is the second mural in the Utah Wildlife Walls series. Wildlife artist, Chris Peterson, in partnership with the Utah Wildlife Federation, unveiled the “Eagle of Fire” mural in downtown Midvale.

The mural is based on a real baby golden eagle named Phoenix, who was burned but survived a fire near Utah Lake. The mural not only celebrates Phoenix, but recognizes the threat all golden eagles face, including electrocution, vehicle collisions, and habitat loss.
