Visiting the Historic Wendover Airfield and Museum

After arriving in Wendover from the Ride-For-Life UTV event, we visited the Historic Wendover Airfield and Museum. This WW2-era airfield is the last remaining in the United States, with over 60 original buildings, most significant is the hanger that housed the Enola Gay. It’s the airplane that dropped the first atomic bomb on Japan that ended the war.

This museum is impressive, and a must-see for every American to understand the sacrifices made for our country and our freedom.
