My granddaughter Aspyn’s first deer hunt in 2026 and she bagged this beauty in the northeastern part of Utah while hunting with her grandfather. She will not be happy with anything less than this fine buck now.

He was part of several scouting trips prior to the hunt, and even begged his Grandpa to check him out of school and bring him down to camp a day earlier than planned to help his dad keep eyes on the best bull they were able to find. The night before the hunt Kameron stayed on the glass and watched the bull push his cows til dark and helped plan a perfect stalk for Opening morning . 10 minutes into legal shooting light it happened like a dream and Kam was able to finally put his hands on him.

Kingston shot his FIRST buck during the general season, public land, rifle deer hunt in the mountains above Strawberry! This dandy came right in at 50 yards with a group of bull elk, Kingston got a shot off and after tracking a small blood trail, Kingston spotted him down about 100 yards away! Couldn’t have asked for a better hunt.
