Tonights pictures are all in the spirit of this show or past shows. Here’s Erik’s entree, this shot of Erik holding a huge set he found this year. He says he watched the buck all winter, waited for the deer to move off and ended up picking up the sheds that score right around 180.

This is 6 year old Tyler and 5 year old Jace who for the first time went with their dad and grandpa shed hunting. Dad, Jake says the highlight of their all day hike was this great 5 by 5 set. Dad says, the best part of the trip was being able to share the boys excitement of exploring the outdoors.

Young Morgan was out on a four wheeler ride with mom and dad when she shouted “dad a horn!” She quickly jumped off the wheeler and sure enough walked over and picked up her first ever shed. Little Morgan is only 3 years old, but found the only shed of the day.

Ben loaded his 18 month old son Rhyder on his back and hiked to the top of mountain to glass some bucks he’s been watching. Rhyder was wandering around while dad glassed and ended up finding a shed antler all by himself. Dad couldn’t be more proud and Rhyder is trying to sleep with his new found antler.

Check out the brute steelhead Jake caught while fly fishing in Idaho a few weeks ago. The fish took Jake into his backing, but with help from his brother he was able to land this beautiful 35 inch buck. Talk about a fish of a lifetime and a great experience.

But our winner tonight awoke at 4:00 am to drive in the dark for an experience many have never seen. By the light of a full moon, Randy drove the last few miles on his ATV in 20 degree temperatures to his favorite Sharp-tailed grouse LEK to witness their mating dance ritual. Randy says this is one of the most incredible displays in the animal kingdom. When it all comes together, you know why you put so much effort into a truly beautiful adventure. Randy, we couldn’t have stated it any better, congratulations on a great morning, some fantastic pictures and now our big prize for having the Camp Chef, Snapshot of the Week.
