We kick it off with a climb and some up close shots of some critters. Tyson and his buddies climbed timp last month and ran into these young bulls right on the trail. Near the top on their way to the glacier they ran into some mountain goats that stood there long enough for them to take some really close snapshots. Tyson said he could almost touch them it was so cool.

Dave is always sending us some great pictures of some monster muleys. Check out the buck he found that is just about done growing. Dave says, this buck has his sons getting ansy about this years hunt. The archery hunt kicked off today, hopefully archers are as successful getting close as Dave is.

Scott says Tosha only goes fishing with him once or twice a year. So when she does, he cherishes every moment. While fishing at Yuba, Tosha screamed out Fish on and the battle was on.
Not having steel leader, Scott was sure Tosha would loose her fish, but she battled it like a pro and boated this 38 inch northern pike. Scott says he can’t wait till they go again.

Our their morning, on their first ever trip to Alaska. Brent, his niece, brother, and son caught and brought home 130 pounds of salmon and 40 pounds of halibut. Scott says, they could not have had a better experience. I’m sure they are already planning next years trip.

but our winner tonight is a prehistoric fish, that had all hands on deck to haul in. Judy and her family were fishing the mighty Snake River for the white sturgeon. Their group of nine, caught 4 sturgeon. Each bigger than the last, but it was on the last hole, the last stop of the day that produced this eight foot, nine inch, approximately 400 pound beast. Judy says the big fish, estimated to be 50 years old took them all for a ride. Once to shore, they took this great group photo before releasing the fish to fight another day.
