[CG :2 LineJordan GillespieGreen River turns brown]

Jordan caught the Green River bug or should we say his fish did? Check out this beauty he caught on a cold crisp morning on the green. Jordan says after a great fight and a lucky self net job, the big fish was let go so someone else could have the same Green River experience.

Five year old Logan had quite the fishing trip. On the way up to fish Panguitch Lake with his dad and friends, Logan got car sick, he did get out to fish and the only thing he caught was this huge 25 inch tiger trout. Dad says the reel on Logan’s rod even fell off making it even harder for logan to land the biggest fish of the day.

Ryan says if Benjamin Franklin named Tom the Turkey after Thomas Jefferson when he would not allow it to be our national bird, he says this Big Ben brown is a name worthy of a payback to Ben Franklin. Ryan goes on to say this brown was definitely qualified as a replacement for Thanksgiving dinner but, Big Ben was given a pardon and put back where he came from, the great Weber River.

6 year old, Holden, has been asking dad if they could go hunting for quite some time now. So on Thanksgiving morning they loaded up and headed to Wasatch Wing and Clay. They ended up with 2 roosters, 2 hens and Holden couldn’t be more excited. Tim says, he hopes to turn this into a Thanksgiving tradition.

[CG :2 LineDon SeegmillerBuck brown]

Check out the huge Brown trout Don’s son caught back in November. The big buck is 29 and a half inches long, 15 pounds, and according to Don has a lot of attitude. Don says it just goes to show there are some still some beauties in those front range waters.

But our winner tonight was fishing in Brownstown, USA, which is code for, Don’t ask where were fishing and who could blame him with the size of these fish. Justin and a few buddies hiked into this remote river and found the residents more than willing to cooperate. Their average fish was just over 20 inches and according to Justin very thick and most were sporting their fall colors.
Some great fall fishing with some spectacular brown trout pictures was enough to wow our judges Justin as you and you buddies hike out of here with our big prize from Camp Chef for having our snapshot of the week.
