Camp Chef Snapshot of the Week – 9/17/2011

The Mooney Family donated their time and their boat for this years Cast
event at the berry. Kevin says Aramis and his dad had a great time, very
patient fishermen, not to mention a Aramis is a natural born helmsman.

Just as Daryl was about to take a picture of his wife Jan and her fish, the
fish decided it wanted no part of it. Jan was able to re-net the fish and
Daryl was able to get this fine shot of his sweet heart and her catch.

The Christensen family was out fishing in Central Utah, but didn’t have
much luck, so they decided to take a drive and found this great 4 by 4
bedded, right off the road. He says there’s at least one big one left.

Brianna, Joseph and Samantha were camping at Rockport when they coaxed
their dad Jason into taking them on a fishing trip. Dad, rented a boat and
within an hour each kid not only had one on the line, but brought them in,
by themselves for the very first time. Great memories guys.

Dave says “here’s what happens when you take family and friends to Moab,
and give everyone a turn to drive.” His buddies friend took a turn behind
the wheel of the landcruiser and dumped it in the car wash section on the
Hells Revenge Trail. The land cruiser ended up breaking down, the heat was
unbearable, but i’m sure they’ll be back to test their gear on the Moab
slickrock.

But our winner tonight is a near record tiger from the Manti Lasals. Using a
spcial fly, he tied by himself, Jared hooked up with this 28 1/2 inch 10.2
pound tiger trout. Jared says it took him nearly 40 minutes to land the
beast and he decided to keep the fish. He later found out that had he let
the fish go, he would have beat the catch and release record by 3 1/2
inches. Well Jared, you may have lost the record, but you’ve won our prize,
for having the Camp Chef, Snapshot of the week.

Remember send your pictures and a brief explanation of your latest

The winner each week will win
