Scott Root reports great fishing for trout! Orange PowerBait is the most effective color. Small flies work quite well in the low-light hours. Most fish are 12 inches or smaller. The campground is still closed.
HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR
Great fishing for 12-17 inch tiger trout! Try trolling pop gear and a worm. Fly guys use, # 4 sinking line with a bead head woolly bugger or soft-hackle fly or #4 bead head olive leech. Fish found in 15-25 ft of water near the bottom.
