Strawberry Reservoir
Good fishing from shore and boat! Fly guys use, size 4-8 wooly buggers or leach patterns in black, green or red. Trolling has been very effective 25-50 feet down with dodgers and pink lures. The Strawberry Tagged Fishing Contest goes until October 15th. 51 out of the 300 tagged fish have been caught, including one worth $2,000.00!
High Uinta Lakes
Avoid the heat and head to ten thousand feet! Fishing is great in the Uintas. Roadside lakes are being stocked weekly. Try using PowerBait or worms. Fly anglers use small size 16 or 18 Renegade, Parachute Adams or black ants.
