Hello, my wife Sharon was recently diagnosed with a terminal disease called ALS or the Lou Garrick’s Disease. She was able to take an early retirement and I am able to take some breaks from my real estate business so that we can go do the fun things on her bucket list. One item on her list was to go to Texas to see the Alamo, the 6th floor JFK museum and to hunt a Fallow Deer. The great folks at Saje Ranch near Del Rio Texas set her up on a great hunt. We found a group of 3 nice Fallow bucks, one white, one carmel but she fell in love with a chocolate one. It took us 4 days of hunting to get the right shot but she got it done. She got her beautiful “chocolate marsh fallow”,. Oh, and I was able to get the first live Oryx I’ve ever seen.

VIDEO AS WELL !!!On Friday the 3rd of November, 2023, we had been scouting an area my husband has a special elk hunt permit for. We decided to take a scenic route home, the Mirror Lake Highway. As we came to the summit of the Highway, we scared this nanny mountain goat and her kid off the road and up the hill in front of us. We stopped and I took some pictures and a video. They are such beautiful animals and so rare to see in the wild. My husband in his 68 years here in Utah, has never seen a mountain goat before. He is an elk and deer hunter and we as a family have been all over Utah and its mountains and have never seen mountain goats before. We’ve seen big horn sheep, cougars, bobcats, moose, elk, deer and numerous other animals, but never the goats. They are such beautiful animals, it was a once in a lifetime experience for us…and one we will never forget.
