My son Weston tells his story in the following words. I had a free Saturday for the first time in a while and decided, “What better to do than go to the local pond and try my luck with the fly pole?” So that’s what I did. I put together my vest and went. I had fished for about 30 minutes and caught a few smaller rainbows, then as I stripped my line in slow, my stile indicator sank deep under the water and I set the hook. This fish gave me a solid fight and impressed the other fishermen because it was a big one for the body of water it was in. At the end of the day I was happy that I was able to get out and spend some time in the outdoors with the fly pole and caught this nice fish.

When mom got called into work, Raegan and dad decided to head to the local pond for her first official fishing trip with her own tackle box and rod. Had 5 official casts and spent the rest of the time chasing ducks. Hopefully this leads to many more trips to the pond.
Setting up deer camp on a cold night. Got cold but worth time with family and the outdoors. Home away from home!

My wife Tiffany and I fish the 2nd annual trout tournament at Navajo Lake in September. We landed 24 fish that day and weighed in 4. We won first, second and third place. My wife’s best fish that day was a 16” tiger trout. It was the first trophies she’d ever won! So very proud of her!
