After months of chasing elk in Utah and Idaho with my wife and not even letting an arrow fly, we decided to take an Anniversary trip to Estes Park to get up close and personal. We were not disappointed. We literally had elk fighting off the front porch and all around the cabin we rented. There is no better way to get pumped up for the rut next year than spending time in Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.
