While pheasant hunting near Provo, one of the girls was having a hard time keeping up so in provisions had to be made. Despite the added challenge, pheasants were harvested.
While fishing Lake Powell, we were topwater fishing for bass. My friend Nick Deyoung had two bass hit his bait at the same time. He hooked and landed both of them!
Throwing baseballs and casting poles are this 13 year olds favorite pastimes. Kaden usually catches lots of bass, blue gill, rainbows and sunfish down at Salem pond. He was pleasantly surprised when he landed the colorful tiger trout.

Amazing day fishing at Ferron reservoir
Drew my 1st sandhill tag this year, didn’t know how to hunt them but thanks to YouTube and my son in laws quick learning on how to call, we decoyed and called in my 1st crane, what a feeling to harvest such an awesome bird. Looking forward to the next time.

The storm is rolling in
I landed this beauty of a fish Aug 19th this yr. My family and some high school buddies do this self guided trip each year. This is by far our biggest catch in 15 years doing this trip. Alaska biologist said it was the biggest halibut he has checked this year in Alaska caught using rod and reel. 81” 288lbs! It was a fish of a lifetime with family and good friends. Tight Lines!
