Lane and Ruston were able to harvest 2 bulls on the 4th season public lands Colorado elk hunt. Lane is 16 and Ruston is 12. This is both of their 1st bull elk. We found 4 bulls on the 3rd morning of the hunt and were able to get in to about 150 yards. The both shot once and made it count. Their mother and I are super proud of the work and hunters they are becoming.

Congratulations to my son, Deegan Peterson for shooting his first big bull on the Southwest Desert Limited Entry Late Hunt He got this beauty on the opening evening of the hunt.
My husband and I have been putting in for saw for a few years and we finally drew out together! What an amazing experience!! I have never even shot a duck before. This was so much fun to be able to get our first swans tighter on the same day!! I will remember this for the west of my life!!!!
My first Colorado muley.
With the help of her dad, brother, and grandpa McCall was able to harvest her fist elk. McCall comes from a family of avid hunters and shooters. She has spent a lot of time behind a gun and is a very good shot. She made an amazing shot at 468 yards, all her practice payed off. Three generations of hunters there to share in this fun day with her.
After several years of failed attempts at drawing a Swan permit, 2022 was finally the year. I’ve been battling cancer for the past 3 years so finally being able to get out and hunt was such an amazing experience. I had almost forgotten what it was like to be part of nature and although it had only been a couple of years, it felt like I had lost touch with the outdoors. A good friend allowed me to hunt his property and it paid big dividends. What beautiful birds they are. The first group that looked at our decoys left with one less bird.
