My Husband and I have been married almost 18 years. We have always talked about going on a Whitetail hunt. Last Christmas I gave Lorenzo a whitetail hunt to make one of our dreams come true. Well, we finally got to go and check it off our Bucket list. Not only did I score an amazing Whitetail with my bow (being the first animal I’ve shot with my bow), but we were very fortunate to get a Unique White Majestic Whitetail . Never did we think we would get such a magnificent beautiful animal. This hunt made so many dreams come true and thankful we could do it together.
Father and son double! After 4 days of chasing swans around northern Utah, Bryson Stewart and his son Teagan were finally able to seal the deal with the help of their friend Jared and their trusty dog Bella. After sitting for 2 hours waiting for the birds to start flying, Teagan and Bryson were each able to take a swan out of the same bevy as they passed over. Bella retrieved the magnificent birds and the rest is history. This was the first swan hunt for Bryson and Teagan, an experience they will never forget. Bryson’s swan weighed in at 20lbs 2 oz, Teagan’s came in at 10 lbs 5 oz.
During the Muzzleloader hunt down in southern utah, it’s Hunters first year of dedication hunter, on the morning of Oct 1st, hunter spotted a 4 x 4 Buck, he shot and missed and the buck got away, that night Hunter went and stood by the patch of trees he predicted the Buck from this morning ran into, sure enough, the same buck stepped out with his doe’s, before hunter can get a shot, they ran back into the trees and it was starting to get dark, Hunter didn’t leave the area because he had a special feeling, the Buck stepped back out and Hunter finally bagged him.
I am a disabled veteran and I was luckily selected for a limited bull elk hunt from 4-9 Oct on the Goshute Indian Reservation on the Utah Nevada border by a veteran foundation called Freedom Hunters. This hunt was donated by their donors and is a one time opportunity for a veteran to hunt trophy bull elk. The hunt was five days long and after hiking the mountains for three days I was able to finally take this awesome bull that I never thought I would ever have the opportunity to take. This was a challenging hunt and the first time I had ever hunted with a rifle to take game. (I have always hunted archery). I am truly blessed to have this opportunity and appreciate everything FreedomHunters has done for me and other veterans. Without organizations like them a lot of veterans would never have the chance to have opportunities like this. So thankful to them and my family and friends who helped me get ready for the hunt and process the animal after.

Real Huntin’ Girl. Beccie took her first deer back in 2002, when she was 15, on a favorite piece of property in Central Utah. Here she is, 20 years later, same girl, same property, and another nice buck.

I waited 25 years to draw my bull elk tag. The most wonderful part of the hunt was being there together with my husband and I with our son Travis. This was a hunt of a lifetime and to harvest a bull like this is absolutely amazing. A beautiful 6 X 6.
