I have been so excited for the hunt this year. And the night before opening morning of the rifle hunt it snowed in the mountains above Vernal. My dad and I got up early and headed up around the North Slope. We saw many does and finally found this nice buck. This was my first buck and was a great experience and can’t wait for next year. Logan Harris Age 15
10 year old grandson Silas, went Fly fishing with his dad and first time trying he caught a fish. Looks like a bass. They’re at a small pond in or near Syracuse, called Jensen Pond. Made grandma very proud.

My wife and I were visiting her sister in Summerlin, Nevada, and I was out watching the different wildlife in the 50 yard wide gulley between her house and the golf course. I noticed the quails starting with their alert call. I didn’t think much of it until I saw all of the jackrabbits start running at full speed up the gulley. Out of the corner of my eye I saw what at first I thought was a couple of German shepherds (by their size), at about 15 yards from me, but when I took a second look an I saw these two coyotes trying to flush a rabbit out of the bush. When it ran past them one of the coyotes decided to mark his territory before heading off. The wind was right in my face so I was able to watch them acting their natural way. I watched and took pictures as they continued up the gully out of sight.
