Grandson Mick landed this s 2 1/2 pounder at Scofield with his dad Kyle . It was about all he could handle.

My 10 year old grandson Bo hooked into this rainbow trolling with me at deer creek, weighed 5 lbs, it was a good workout for Bo to get him to the boat but he did it all by himself, a memory that he continues to talk about and will never forget!
Summertime Big Bass This summer me and my new pup Rory have been getting into some nice bass! This past Saturday we continued the streak and landed a 4lb 13oz chunk in the mid day heat! Rory, my 4 month old Irish doodle has been spending time on the water since he was just 8 weeks old. He loves watching me catch fish as much as I love catching them. He loves getting out on the boat and will sit by my feet patiently waiting for me to set the hook. When I bring the fish into the boat he loves to lick their tails,( as you can see with his young out in both picturess) and enjoys watching them swim off strong on the release. Hot summer days can be tough to fish through, but finding that deeper water with the right conditions can lead to some nice fish! I hope to catch some bigger ones this summer and know that Rory is just as excited as I am to keep getting out on the water! Thanks!
