I took my Grandson Brixton Burdette fishing to take his mind off his diagnosis of one of the worst tumors you can possibly get. A rare Desmoid tumor, only 1200 people are diagnosed with it a year in the United States. We were using a little jig for white bass and he hooked into a 20lb catfish on 6lb test. It sure did make his day and he just had cryogenic ablation on his tumor and the Doctors got 50% of it and Brixton is doing much better! We have a long road ahead of us but moments like this make it a lot easier. We love your show and hope we see more of Utah lake fishing on it.

Momma and 2 you bull moose. I was sitting out drinking my morning coffee and the first young bull showed up munching on branches. About 5 minutes later additional rustling came from the bushes and out came Mom and the 2nd young bull (twin). Although we see moose often, it was the first time seeing these fellows this year. My favorite! We were at our lot on Monte Cristo this Month.

Here’s two pictures of 13-year-old Stryder catching his first couple fish out of Jordanelle. He was accompanied by his fishing dog Belle. Both of them were ecstatic to catch this rainbow and bass out of the reservoir.

Jackson was fishing at Ottercreek with his family, and caught this nice rainbow with his brand new pole. The smile on his face is priceless.
With only 2 points, Waylon cashed in all his lucky chips and drew his first bear tag. Between gathering all the needed bait, preparing the bait sites, packing in the bait almost daily, and checking cameras, this hunt became a family affair! After a lot of hard work, sweat, laughs, a few close encounters, and a ton of time Waylon was able to harvest this awesome, scar faced boar. Nothing could wipe the smile off his face once the trigger was pulled! This bear hunt was no joke, but what an opportunity made even better because he did it surrounded by family. Definitely a hunt for the books!
