Archery hunting in Alberta, Canada with my son and grandson. Shot the buck at 12 yards. Great day!
The muzzle loader hunt is a fun family tradition over the years . Wyatt has watched over the years his sisters fill their deer tags . But this was his year, he spent the week up at camp with his dad and brought home this stud . He took him at 140 yards with a muzzle loader with one shot.
Young Archie Munns hooked this fish while fishing with his Grandpa. Reeled it in all by himself.
For the past few years, Krey has tagged along on a number of hunts but has never drawn a hunting tag until this year. But, because of commitments to his football and golf team, the opportunity to get out and hunt a lot, we have not had many chances to get out and look for deer. Fortunately, on the last day of the muzzleloader hunt, Krey was able to tag his 1st buck and he was thrilled!!

My dad and I went for a mid week fishing trip up to Deer Creek. After we first started trolling past the Island we noticed what we first thought was a deer standing on the hillside. As we got closer we soon realized it was a young bull moose munching on some early fall greens. The moose hung around long enough for us to take some great pictures and watch it hang out as we fished the northern part of the reservoir. It was an awesome start to what ended up being a great day of fishing.
