This was our sixth annual guys trip to the rugged and remote wind river range. We targeted cutthroat this year and went to a quieter area that included several lakes teaming with larger cutthroat and had an absolute blast. Cutties were cruising the shores and would consistently rise to dry flies all day long, even in the wind. We only saw other fisherman during 1 of the 4 days we were there and felt like we had the place to ourselves. We’ll be back next year..

Ice fishing bear lake
Our first time fishing on the middle Provo. Tried a lot of different flies all day but no luck. The last hour of the day, we decided to try a spinner and that was the ticket! Reed landed his first brown trout! It was a fighter but his dad was able to net it. We took a couple quick pictures and released it back into the river.
Took my 5 month old out in the backcountry to hunt my Yukon moose. It has always been a dream hunt for me. Lots of planning ahead and this hunt couldn’t have gone any better.
After drawing my Limited Entry Elk tag this year, that’s all I could think about. Having the opportunity to hunt with my two boys, a nephew and several great friends was a dream come true. We had an amazing experience in the mountains. After passing on a gorgeous 6 opening morning, I began to get nervous if we would find the Bull of a lifetime. After many close encounters, it finally came together. I had no idea I would be so fortunate to harvest this unbelievable Bull. Truly a hunt of a lifetime with friends and family. I will never forget this amazing week on the mountain!
