We kick tonight’s snapshots off with some patriotic pride. Billy Bateman and Matt Pratt took a float trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River over the July 4th weekend. As they dropped in Tappan Falls, they held old glory high to show off their American pride.
Before heading to the Green River Jason Bender bought his son a new rod and a Zebco fishing reel. Young Isaac put the three foot rod to the test with his first ever rainbow and this 17 inch brown, a first for Isaac as well.
Brent Thurgood sent us these pictures of two giant cutthroat he caught chucking a brown Fat-Albert on his fly rod. Brent says he loves big fish on big bugs. Brent didn’t disclose where in Utah he caught these beasts and do you blame him? Like Brent says, Keep it secret, keep it safe.
Terry has always been an outdoor enthusiast and one activity, he’s learned to love and can be done year round is photography. Check out the two bucks Terry found recently. This buck the bigger of the two Terry says looks to be an impressive five by eight. that is one nice buck Terry.
And finally our winner tonight took looking for animals to a whole new level. Twenty two year old Meranda Martin took a trip to Zambia with her uncle to visit her uncle’s family. While there they went on Safari in South Luangwa (luwongwa) National Park. They saw everything imaginable including six leopards in one day. Meranda lives in Beaver and her family loves to drive the hills looking for animals. This she says was just like that, but it was on a whole new level. Well congrats kid on a great trip, some amazing photo’s and now our big prize for having just won…the snapshot of the week.
