Our winner this week was on the chase for a cougar, but came home with a different trophy. Amber was out in the Currant Creek area with her husband and friends chasing mountain lions. On the way up the mountain, following her dogs, they spotted this owl in a tree clutching its afternoon snack. Amber says she did end up treeing a lion that day, but she loved getting so close to the owl. A great day with wildlife.
