The Winter Striped Bass Bite is Hot at Lake Powell

December is an ideal time to fish for striped bass at Lake Powell! The reasons: no crowds, mild weather, and the stripers are in a feeding frenzy to prepare for a long winter. Dropping and jigging spoons in a pack of stripers is sure to lure a bite so you can fill the live well with unlimited fish. Stripers are also great table fare and when the stripers are fat, the fillets are big enough for dinner. So in this episode of KSL Outdoors, we go to North Lake Powell around Good Hope Bay and target stripers. We also show what lures worked for us and the techniques you’ll need to employ to get into ta mess of stripers yourself.
